Stressed out...Merry Christmas.

The Christmas season is upon us, sad thing is I dont really care this year. I have not put up a tree. Well a small one that is 12 inches tall, on a good note it does have black and orange balls. Go pokes! I am just feeling all bah humbuggy. Presents, nope havent bought any. Am I going to? Nope. Dont care. What a mood to be in, I love Christmas. Maybe my attitude will change. I doubt it. I wonder what the deal is. Stress. lots of it. I am waiting for Christmas break so that I can sit at home...all week and paint my house. This is what I am looking forward to. Please stress go away. At least I have this Saturday off work to spend with the hubs. Yay! back to work on sunday though. and on another note, maybe I will sell more furniture. who knows.

Boot Camp...

well guys i am finally going...to boot camp. I have been wanting to go but i havent signed up. I did. I start January 18th, I am excited. I wonder if I will be excited come 6 every morning in the cold. Hopefully it will be worth it and I will lose the rest of this weight that i have put on. Yay. I have done good on my own, but I think that this will give me the push that I need. I have been working lots and lots lately, so maybe this will be the release that i need. so excited. I have also gotten alot of motivation around my house lately also, I finally have my living room painted, it has only taken me over a year. pics to come. Yay, bootcamp here i come. hopefully with a lot less booty.

Furniture...

I love redoing furniture, I have been doing it for the past few years, of course my hubs helps when I need it. I finally took some pictures of what I have done. Unfortunately, I didnt take pictures of when we received them, but here are a few pics of  the final results. I have sold many of them, but you will notice that a general theme that is used. It seems to be my favorite look for furniture. I am really into shabby chic. I recently redid a sofa table for myself, it really came out shabby chic. I didnt take pics of it though, when I finish the next piece I am doing, which should be tomorrow, since I am off all week.:) I will posts pics later.

Christmas presents...

I have been buying Christmas gifts for sometime now...I would say at least the last 3 months. Since we having been living on less this past year, I have had to shop many deals that may come my way. I am most proud of the gift that I bought for my mutt, E.V. As most of you know, my poor baby has had a hereditary mange that was passed from her mother at birth. It has been non stop vet visits, but one more and we think that it may be licked. E.V. looks pretty sad, spots of hair missing and raw spots on her skin, but I found the perfect Christmas present for her. A Rock and Republic dog collar! She will be styling this Christmas please dont tell her, if you see her though. I got an awesome deal on this collar, the original price was 60.00, yes, that is right. So, I can mark her off my list. :)

A Kindle.

I really want a Kindle. I have thought about it for a long time now and I think that I going to buy myself a belated birthday present. I cant decide between the one for 189 or the 139 Kindle. Any suggestions? The picture credit goes to Amazon.com.  Does anyone have one?

Man Cave!

My husband and I are finishing the garage this weekend to complete my husbands man cave. We just installed a 32 in. TV. Yes you read right. 32 inches of tv in my garage. Pictures to follow. Have a great weekend!

I did get new lights!

These are my new ceiling lights in my house. I should have taken pictures. Now all I have to do is change all my hardware to bronze, but I think I may cheat and spray paint all my old knobs bronze. I like cheap, just not cheap looking. Wonder how long a spray painted door knob would last? lol. No really, I wonder. I think I may try that. I am slowly checking things off the list. Next, I will be stenciling my bedroom wall and painting my sleigh bed. Lots of things to do. No wonder I dont ever get to watch tv. Not that I really miss it.

The new bathroom faucet.

This is the new faucet that I want in my bathroom. How wonderful it is, want to know why? It has a pull down spray handle. How exciting! I cant wait to go get it tomorrow. I would get it this evening but I have to work. Isnt she beautiful? And practical? The company that made this faucet is a genious. I want to stare at her all day.

On another note, since the hubs and I are puting up fencing for our labor day weekend. I have spent tons of moola there. So, I have no money for the backsplash that I wanted for my kitchen. So, I have made a decision to paint my entire backsplash in, you guessed it, chalkboard paint.  So, this will work for the mean time, or years. Whichever. I am thinking about puting in new countertops. Depends on the price. Do you think it is too much black? My kitchen is pretty lighted though.

Week one.

5 lbs. down! Yay!

My diet. The first week.

First off. Let me tell you that I cannot believe I let myself get this big. I have never weighed the amount that I do. Ever. So, week 1 I am hungry. Very hungry. I am used to eating like a man. Well, the size portions that my husband eats anyway. That is no bueno. And for my upcoming birthday. I have given up lots of things, including overeating and fried foods. My favorite. I will post my lbs. lost every Tuesday. But no, I will not be posting weight, I dont even like to look at it on the scale. So, therefore, my goal is to drop 20 lbs. That is right, that is what I have gained since I have been married. 5 lbs. a year. I thought to myself, what if you keep gaining 5 lbs. a year? I dont even want to go there, hence, the diet. Wish me luck with more veggies and more excercising. Wow, am I ever hungry.

My first sale! Sold, I am addicted now.

I sold it! Yay for me. Ignore the clutter in the background that is my life! I am so addicted to furniture redo now. More to come! Oh, the best part sold it to someone I dont even know, even better.

Here is our new puppy. Isnt she cute? Her real name is Eddie Vedder, but since she is a girl we call her E.V. I personally thought she would be ok with Eddie but my husband said no. So, on that note here she is!

Its been awhile...

I have been on hiatus as with almost everything. We have started painting the house finally after 6 months. I will post pics later. However, we did get to go to Vegas!
