Weekly Goals...
Across the blogosphere, it seems that others are posting their weekly goals, I am guessing that that hundreds of others will know what you are trying to accomplish and you will have to account to them. So, I decided to join and list my goals also. My weekly goals are as follows for the rest of this week.
1. Get up earlier, 6:45 is not working. I need to shoot for 6:15, but I will take 6:30.
2.Add another class of Zumba, it is time to go 3 days a week for an hour. I just love Zumba, I should have done this when I heard about it a couple of years ago. I do not mind working out for an hour with this class, it is so much fun! I cant wait to get the game for my Wii. (I know, I am a nerd.) I can already tell that my clothes are fitting better after 4 weeks, 2X a week. I am sure 3X will help me take off the 20 lbs. even faster.
3. Clean my house (organize) and do at least one load of laundry and put it away, at least 30 min a day. Follow the Martha Stewart, clean house plan.
http://www.marthastewart.com/274764/cleaning-checklists/@center/276998/organizing-checklists
4. Finally, add one day this week to wog, that would be a walk, jog for 30 min. If I would get up earlier, I could make this happen.
5. Make at least 2 crock pot meals a week for dinner with new recipes.

Homemade "Febreeze" Recipe...it works great!
i made a batch of homemade febreeze tonight. i was skeptical at first when i found this recipe on pinterest. now that i made it tonight i am sold, i will never have to buy febreeze ever again, and my house smells so good! it smells better than the febreeze that you buy at the store, i call this batch my ghetto febreeze. ha! the recipe so easy, 1/8 cup of your favorite fabric softener, 2 tablespoons of baking soda, and hot water. fill up your old bottle of febreeze or spray bottle and shake shake shake. spray away. i used a test spot when i first tried and waited to see if it made any stains, it didnt. this is great, saving 3.80 a bottle. i figure it cost .20 for everything to make this bottle. i jokingly told my friend that i know what everyone is getting in their Christmas stocking, but really they are. *And a side note I would like to give credit to The Frugal Girls Website for this recipe.

Bil Jac Dog Food.
I recently tried Bil Jac dog food for my dog EV by BzzAngent. I purchased the sensitive stomach dog food for her, she just loves it! I will continue to purchase only this food for her, the bag of dog food that I bought was made with real chicken as the first ingredient. You can really tell by the texture of the dog food that it is made with four pounds of chicken. I am impressed. You should try it too!

Finished with the papering, just wall space left to paint.
So, the wall comes through as super shiney in the photos. But I have painted a light blue wash on top since then and it has toned down the shine dramatically. It looks so good! I am happy with the way that it turned out. I dont think that I will be doing this to any other walls in my house, but i do think it works well for one accent wall. I may do some pieces of furniture like this in the future.

My wall treatment is on its way...
I spent a couple of hours last night puting up the foil on my wall in the living room. I havent gotten it all the way finished, I still need to foil the top and bottom and then burnish with black paint. I sure hope it looks as good as the wall I saw on a blog, The Ivy Cottage. Didnt she do a wonderful job? I am not for sure if mine is going to look so pretty. I am trying my best. here is the beginning product, right now it is very shiny. I sure hope the paint works to bring down the shine.

A vintage camping trailer...
We have a motor home that is older...a 1986 Honey to be exact. She runs ok, but she doesnt look the best. After looking at a blog, I found the cutest decor in the world! She is over at lindy hill cottage and she is redoing a vintage trailer, I would love to redo an airstream, but do to lack of funds, that idea is out right now.

Her camper is so cute. I cant wait to paint the honey and redo the fabric on the seats!

How I made my garden table for 10 dollars.
Once again, I forgot to take step by step pictures of the process. However, this table is so simple. You need a pallet (I had my husband get a small one), and something to make the legs out of. I happened to have four spindles at home already from a project that didnt work out, so I just used those. I was also thinking of using 2x4 or 4x4 leftover wood that my husband had. If you notice from the picture I attached my legs to the inside of the pallet. This seemed to be the easiest way to attach them, then I took long screws (long enough to fit into the wood of the pallet and hold) and drilled them in. I used 4 screws per leg. I am going to reinforce the legs with a 1x4 piece of wood. It has not been attached yet, you can see it laying on top. Then I spray painted it spring green. It is exactly what I wanted to plant on! Simple and rustic. Easy to use. Make sure you cut your legs to the correct height for you to work according to the pallet size and leg size you use.

When I lose twenty lbs...
When I lose twenty pounds, I am wearing my wedding dress to work. It will be the first time in 5 years that I can do it up again. So, I still have to mull it over with my boss, but I figure it should be in August. What a great 30th bday present. Cant believe that I am turning 30. That is a different subject. I am so excited. We are doing this at work together to get in shape. I am sure we will all be winners, or losers. :)

Jewelry holder...
I finished my jewelry holder. I think it looks good on my wall. I took an old picture frame and stapled in some yarn square fabric. If that is what it is called then I spayed painted the fabric silver. It had a lovely design on it before of something that was to be traced in yarn. It turned out pretty nice, and it works. Which is the main thing.
Take picture frame take out the backing and glass, staple or hot glue mesh or wire mesh into your picture (the back part of the frame). Hang. It is that simple. Use your imagination for the insert to hold your jewelry or earrings. Wonder what else you could use for a holder?
And just for laughs my mardi gras dog. Isn't she cute?

Recently Purex sent me Purex with Zout to try...
It works great with the pretreater already in the laundry detergent. God knows I need it! I am a slob. I dont mean to be but somehow I always manage to get something on me. Always. This laundry soap works great! My socks are whiter and old stains left my clothes. I recommend trying this. Also, I recently purchased purex crystals laundry softener. I wont use anything else. My clothes smell wonderful and so do my sheets! I suggest trying both!

My new app...Runkeeper Pro.
I downloaded a new app for my phone the other day and am I so happy that I did. It is awesome. And it was free. Which most of you know is close to my heart. Today on campus was the first time that I have used it and I was not disappointed. Of course, I am ashamed of my time but I also was dropping off papers as I entered the building too. Oh, well. How cool is this? I love this app. Now all I need to figure out is how too get my amazon mp3 app to work. I may have to call amazon. The link below is my route.

Filing Cabinet Redo
I have been busy with painting, finding a paint color for my bathroom, finding a bedroom paint color, and redoing things. Also, I planted flowers and tilled my flower beds. I am still waiting on the hubs for the front flower bed. Hopefully, he will get the shrubs pulled out before summer. I hate them.
I have almost finished my filing cabinet for the office. I am slow at things. It takes a while for me to finish things. I have a tendency to start many projects at once. I can't help it, I have always been that way. The pictures on the cabinet have wrinkles because the mod podge is still wet. I know that it will look good with my office of all black also. I need to add a few more pictures on the top but other than that it is done. Yay! Now I can start on my planting table and the coffee table. I have way too many ideas. Oh, and I will be painting this weekend. Fun.

My favorite writer. Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Inspiration to live by, the one on the top is going to be painted on my entry way wall, once I decide on a color for the walls. I am thinking some type of serene blue, maybe green. I am a great decision maker.

I know I must be getting older.
I have been to a couple of doctors this year, as it is the beginning of the year and well, I will be turning 30 so it is time for maintanence. And I guess so, both doctors that I have been to have put me on supplements. They both mentioned it, I am now taking multi vitiamins, fish oil, and magnesium. I still dont like to take over the counter or prescribed medicines (if I dont have to). I dont think know these pills would have been recommended to me 10 years ago. Maybe no one was taking them then? I will look at it that way. Oh, the joys. The only problem is, is that I still feel (and act) 25. Maybe these pills will keep me that way.

Spring Cleaning.
Hopefully spring is just around the corner. I am ready for spring, I have had enough snow, I want sunshine and warm weather. I want to garden and see some pretty flowers bloom. I am also ready to clean, my house needs it. From top to bottom. Here is the spring cleaning list so far. I am adding daily.
1. Steam clean couch and chair.
2. Remove carpet in remaining to bedrooms and lay hardwood floors.
3. Thoroughly clean hardwood floors and rugs in my house. Winter has reaked havoc.
4. Clean stove.
5. Organize. This should be #1 for me. I am the most unorganized person I know, when it comes to my home. Work not a problem. Maybe all my organizational skills are used up at work.
6. Clean car, steam clean floors and seats. Have detailed.
7. Clean fans.
8. Clean under fridge, washer, dryer.
9. Organize closets, get rid of clothes we no longer wear. Others could use them.
10. The garage. Wow.
11. Paint the master bedroom and entryway.
12. Pick a color for the bathrooms.
13. Paint the bathrooms.
That is all I have right now. I am sure there will be more. I need to start tackling some things tomorrow after work.

Yesterday...
Was an overall crappy day. I have lots of work to do in my home and on myself. I figured this out at the doctor. Went well let me tell you. (Sarcasm, if you cant tell.) Good thing I am turning 30. I also received a letter in the mail about my taxes for my house in 2011. That made me happy as well. Hopefully things will turn around, when it rains it pours.
My living room is almost painted I will post pics later. It looks so warm and cozy. I am about to sell my couch and get smaller ones. My L shaped couch is just to large for my living room, and not to mention it is almost the same color as my walls. Hopefully this year will turn around. Soon.

Ramblings...about furniture and myself.
I went to my new church today. I love this church alot. They focus on people and how you should treat yourself and fellow man with respect. I work on this everyday, especially towards myself. My favorite verse I read today, this is paraphrased, mind your business, work hard, love your family and the rest will follow. Since, I have learned hard lessons about minding your business, I do that now. I say what I mean to the person and I say it once. Of course, there are different circumstances for this. But all in all, I get the jist of it. New church and a new me. I am trying, maybe because 30 is in the near future.
On another note, I start the Special K diet tomorrow for 14 days. And Billy Blanks and I will be friends in the morning. I love his workouts. They kick my butt. Day 1 i am sure will be horrible. But I am excited to lose the 25 lbs that I want to lose. I am going to document my weekly weigh ins. This way I can be accountable.
Lastly, I wanted to show off my new furniture, Ok it is not new but refurbed. carl and I did lots of sanding and oiling these beauties back to their original glory. We saved them from years of neglect from carl's grandads garage. They are georgeous now. Although, carl did try to catch the house on fire (from the lindseed oil that generates its own heat) they were worth it. Here they are! Ignore the mess in front of the tv, I am painting the living room.
The one in the dining room is pictured above the tv below sorry it sideways. I should have taken pictures of the before. I forgot.
