I forgot my camera...again.

No pics still of  the new floors we installed. I forgot my camera again and still have not called to get internet. I have been to lazy. A lot is going on in our lives. A lot. I have decided to do my backsplash in the kitchen with chalkboard paint. Exciting times! Ya, I know. At least it will be better than the nice 80s faux wood grain countertops, beautiful. As if countertops werent enough, they just had to go all the way up to the cabinets with it. Yuck. So, until I can afford my 20 a square foot backsplash sheets, chalkboard paint will have to work. Something like the picture is what I have in mind.

Day 24...No Cable and doing just fine.

The hubs and I have no cable since moving to the house. We have decided to keep it that way. I get things done after work and I spend time in my garage. Unpacking. Like I need to. We bought rabbit ears and we now get 10, that is right, 10 HD channels for free. And how can you beat free? You can't. So, therefore, I wonder if we will get cable again...I doubt it. I did break down and get the internet. I only have so much will power, and I got sick of looking at things on the internet on my cell. Not to mention, I am cheap...no cable, a savings of over 600.00 a year. Priceless.
